To gain access to my forum new members must pay a fee. But every day I'm still getting new members that aren't paying but still able to register. Every registration link on the site I can find leads to the page to purchase the membership. Is there a back door into wpForo that I'm missing? How can I stop these people from registering without paying?

- My site uses Paid Membership Pro for its membership management

Clean talk is the plug in most of use use to stop spam accounts, but that doesn't explain how they are getting through your pay wall.... interesting

Check out my Wpforo forum, lots of customisations and add ons 🙂

My thoughts exactly. If the bots are able to get around the paywall there must be a backdoor in wpForo they're getting through.

This is a false information about wpForo and a backdoor. There is not such a thing.

Login/Register is NOT handled by wpForo but from Wordpress core.

Search your logs to see from where it comes from.

Hi @bobbyc9822,

I don't know how the membership plugin works but just in case try the Following

Go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab and check the below-mentioned options:

Replace Registration Page URL to Forum Registration Page URL

Replace Login Page URL to Forum Login Page URL

Replace Reset Password Page URL to Forum Reset Password Page URL

In case you want to say thank you !)
We'd really appreciate and be thankful if you leave a good review on plugin page. This is the best way to say thank you to this project and support team.
