Hi @freeman291187 , 

Here's how to update your WpForo 1.7.7

Go to 

  1. WordPress Dashboard
  2. Click Plugins
  3. Click  Installed Plugins
  4. Then you will find the list of Plugins on your site
  5. You should find wpForo there, and then there is a prompt that says "There is a new version of wpForo available. View version 1.8.4 details or update now."
  6. Then you would just click the "Update Now" link.
