I appreciate the help and struggled to find my answer, but I cannot (for the life of me) figure out how to set an entire forum as "private".
If I missed the post or info about this, I apologize. Any help is appreciated.

WP board > Forums > forum and click on your own forum what you want to make private and click edit - https://ctrlv.cz/ZzR6
And you can make a new "access / group" in Forums > Forum permissions. I hope you understand this, czech english is not for all 😀
Yes, as explaned Glados, you can set any forum as private using permission settings. Just edit the forum and set No Access to any usergroup you want:
