We are moving to the wp-foro Forum on our website from Slack.

I'd like to copy and paste some of the most important posts from Slack to the new Forum space.

Is there a way to back-date a post in the Forum to a previous date?

For example, an important post in Slack from 10/3/18 copied and pasted into the Forum now would show today's date. I'd like it to show the original post date of 10/3/18.

Thanks for any tips or advice.

I'm sorry but not. You should do tat manually using phpMyAdmin Database manage of your hosting service. The dates should be changed in

  • wp_wpforo_topics > created and modified fields
  • wp_wpforo_posts > created and modified fields

Then navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard, click on [Update forum statistic], then [Delete all caches] buttons.
