Hi, I have quite an urgent question, hope you can help me out...
My wpForo Forum Administrator needs to add/remove a second usergroup for a user. is WP Admin User Role required to do this?
When the wpForo Forum Administrator changes the second usergroup and saves the user, he does not get a notification like 'you are not allowed', but it does not saves the change (see attachment). It looks like he has no access rights, while he has all CAN access rights in the wpForo 'full access' Admin group.
So, for deleting users the WP Admin user role is required, but it also seems to be required to change the second user group, is that right?
Hi @mhit,
Please provide admin access to your website, need to check why it's like that.

Email Subject: wpForo Credentials.
Hi Chris,
This is the problem:
I need a Forum Administrator that can / can't do the following:
- Edit/Delete wpForo Members
- Edit wpForo secondary usergroup for a member
- Can NOT access WP Dashboard
- Can NOT edit / delete other WordPress Admins / WordPress Owner (wp_user Id=1)
With additional User role plugins I can come close to this, however it seems that wpForo has been built in such way that ONLY the WordPress Admin User role ( i.e. WordPress Admin / WordPress Owner with wp_user ID=1) can change the second usergroup for a user.
I need second usergroups because of the following settings:
- Forum 1 : All registered members have access
- Forum 2 : All registered members assigned to 2nd User group have access
- Forum 3 : All registered members assigned to 3rd User group have access
etc.
So the Forum Admin accepts a new registrartion and manually adds a 2nd or 3rd usergroup to this new member.
It seems to be a problem that only the WordPress admin user role can change a wpForo usergroup of a wpForo member.... Even if I try to clone the WP Admin user role with a user role plugin, it does not work for changing the usergroup of a wpForo member.
Hope you can confirm the above issue or clarify with some additinal information....
