@percysgrowroom,

The error says that files have not been uploaded correctly. So you should unzip the zip file in your local pc, and upload /wpforo/ folder to /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Make sure you've not duplicated /wpforo/ folder in the /wpforo/ folder.

Before uploading it, make sure the current installed one is deactivated and deleted.

I unzipped the files and installed the folder with ftp, after deactivating and deleting the current version of 2.0

It boke the site again and i am 100% sure i followed the instructions exactly.... I have deleted the 2.0.9.2 version and re installed the 2.0.9 version and the site is back.

Please let me know what I should do next. This is stressful, but at least everything is still the and working fine

@percysgrowroom,

It seems the files are not uploaded properly or the /wpforo/ folder is blocked by your file system. The error says that the Settings.php doesn't exist. But it does exist in the /wpforo/classes/ folder. So, something wrong with your file system. I cannot help you to install it, you should wait for the update.

@robert I havent pasted any of the new errors here, you may be looking at the old ones.

I unzipped the files, and installed it via my FTP, after deleting the former wpforo plug ins, everything uploaded fine and was on the server, but i had a longer name... maybe thats the issues?

It was on the server as:

1663952613-wpforo-2092

@percysgrowroom,

hmm..., if you unzip the 1663952613-wpforo-2092.zip file, you'll see /wpforo/ folder. Why you have uploaded the 1663952613-wpforo-2092? wpForo never has such folder name.

Again, if you, please download it again from this post, unzip it "Extract here" and you'll see clear /wpforo/ folder. Then upload it to the plugin folder. Make sure there are no other wpforo folders.

@percysgrowroom ,

It's cashing... just wait for a few days. There should not be any SQLs for likes.

Each topic page should be loaded at least one time to be cached.

We'll add a button in backend to click and cache all likes at once.

@percysgrowroom,

Just ignore it. Somehow, some cache files have not been found to be deleted. It seems one process has deleted them before another process. The cache file deleting action is disabled for php warnings, so this is the Query Monitor issue, it should not report such a thing.

BTW, I'd recommend open /wp-content/plugins/wpforo/classes/Cache.php file

Find this line:

$dirs = [ $this->dir . '/forum', $this->dir . '/topic', $this->dir . '/post', $this->dir . '/tag', $this->dir . '/item/post', $this->dir . '/item/topic', $this->dir . '/item/forum', $this->dir . '/item/tag', $this->dir . '/item/url', $this->dir . '/item/avatar', $this->dir . '/item/reaction', $this->dir . '/item/option/' ];

Change to this:

$dirs = [ $this->dir . '/forum', $this->dir . '/topic', $this->dir . '/post', $this->dir . '/tag', $this->dir . '/item/post', $this->dir . '/item/topic', $this->dir . '/item/forum', $this->dir . '/item/tag', $this->dir . '/item/url', $this->dir . '/item/avatar', $this->dir . '/item/option/' ];

This will not allow unnecessary resetting reaction cache by not-related actions (this is not related tot the php warnings). So your reactions cache will be collected without breaking.

You can use WPIDE plugin to edit wpforo files. This change has been added in the upcoming update as well.

@percysgrowroom,

Great. From now, all likes of each topic page will be cached on the first visit, so the second time you'll see a fast page loading speed.
