I recently had to restore my WP site after a bad update. Now my forums are completely blank.  Is it possible to get my forums and settings back? It appears my data is there but not showing. See image. I do have site backup files.

Thanks,

Cey

More information. Under tools/Database Tables, I saw that "Problems Found in Database". I click on "Solve database problems" button but that did not work. I wen to cPanel to run the SQL statement and I get the error, "#1062 - Duplicate entry 'crew-community' for key 'unique_slug'"

@cey314,

I have fixed the slug and board ID, but I can access to the forum page, you have a plugin which doesn't let me enter the forum page, I get redirected to the following page:

I was able to eventually fix this. I followed the following steps:

  • wpForo > Boards
    • change the slug from my-community to community-2
    • Save
  • In cPanel run SQL command that is shown in error message in wpForo
  • Refresh browser
  • wpForo > Boards
    • Should see two boards.
    • Delete the community-2 board
