I merged topics by appending, but the merged thread is listed in the forum but when I click on it, wpforo does not load, I just get my header and footer. The database table for the merged thread contains the posts. What is the root column? The appended posts have -1 value, others have values that look like post ids.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
The function in wpForo may not work due to several reasons, including JavaScript errors or conflicts with caching plugins. To fix this, you should exclude wpForo pages from caching in your cache plugin settings. Also, check your browser console (press F12) for any JavaScript errors when trying to edit posts, as these errors can indicate the root cause.
