As an admin I can't find any way to delete topics? I want to be able to clear out the content of a forum without deleting the forum itself, which we do regularly as our forums are used for a limited time only.
Am I missing something here? Posts can be deleted but not topics!
Ok but why can't there be a basic delete option for topics at admin level when in the forum. It's so un- user friendly to have to go elsewhere to do this. Such basic functionality!
Ok, so there must be something else needed then. As the admin, I have full access with all options selected including delete topic but it still doesn't give me that option within the front end of the forum...

why not? click on Delete – Deletes Topic with all replies permanently (no way to undo)
The delete option relates to posts only. So are you saying that deleting the first post in a topic deletes all posts and the topic?
