wpForo 1.x.x [Closed] pluggin error ?

updated all the plugins but the site wouldnt work i deactivated them all and they i activated them one by one till i found the one causing me the problem and it is wpForo Advanced Attachments

any fixes ?

Hi @lvlasked,

1. Make sure you use wpForo 1.8.1 and wpForo Advanced Attachments 2.0.4

2. Leave some screenshot of the error, i don't understand what error you mean.

1. im using wpforo 1.8.7 as that was the latest update and that was fine.

2. i just updated the advanced attchments this morning. Version is now Version 2.0.4

Error im getting is ""There has been a critical error on your website."" when i activate it

 

so i carnt view my forum

@lvlasked,

Please go to Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Debug > Errors & Issues Tab and let us know what errors you see in both sections:

  1. Error Log File: .../public_html/error_log
  2. Error Log File: .../public_html/wp-admin/error_log

@robert,

Please deactivate the wpForo plugin (NOT Uninstall just deactivate), delete it, then find and install the wpForo plugin again. 

After those steps, the addon should be installed fine.

@sofy will i no lose changes to the forum ?  just i dont want to do this and mess everything up 🙁

Please deactivate the wpForo plugin (NOT Uninstall just deactivate), delete it, then find and install the wpForo plugin again. 

As Sofy already mention, if you deactivate the plugin(NOT Uninstall just deactivate), delete it, then find and install the wpForo plugin again and nothing will lost.
