Hello fellow members or support staff,

Is it possible to rename the words 'Privacy Policy' when a user registers with the forums? We're trying to make it more descriptive such as 'Privacy Policy & Forums Usage Terms'.

We tried the 'phrases' panel under wpforo setting and changed 'Privacy Policy' to different text there (ID 451), but it doesn't seem to work (with the website's caching off).

Please see the attached image for clarity.

Thanks!

Ed

See attached for a screen shot of the wording, which has already been changed under 'Phrases'.

Hi Admin, see if this helps.

It seems that the 'Privacy Policy' wording at user registration, as well as the content it points to, is referring to the Privacy Policy page of WordPress setup i.e.

Dashboard > Settings > Privacy

and not the forum's setup under

Dashboard > Forum > Tools > Privacy & Rules

Thanks,

Ed

Turns out, that's because our site uses BuddyPress.

We've since changed it to using wpforo's register page under (with a tip from a fellow member on another post of ours) -

Forum > Settings > Members > Custom Authorization URLs > Register URL

to

/community/?foro=signup

So for us it's not a concern anymore!

Thanks

Ed
