Hello!

request from a customer: Two forums should be build up, one should be restricted, so users can't upload any files here. On the 2nd forum, this should be possible. Didn't found any settings to achieve this, also searching the forum and Google didn't show any solution.

Ist this maybe possible with the "Advanced Attachment" Addon?

Hi @pheck1964,

You have two Forums where the:

Forums attachments are allowed
Forums attachments are not allowed

You need two Forum Access for that:

Forum Access(Can attach file option is enabled)
Forum Access(Can attach file option is disabled)

Edit Forum 1, set Forum Access 1 for the needed Usergroups in Forum Permissions Field

Edit Forum 2, set Forum Access 2 for the needed usergroups in Forum Permissions Field
