Hello, I installed the wpforo plugin. However I get a lot of spam, sometimes 200 per day. I tried adjusting the settings so that messages are moderated but it didn't change anything. Currently having 136,000 spam messages, I have even banned new topics. I still had lots of new topics arriving in droves in my mailbox. So I uninstalled the plugin but I notice that I still receive messages informing me of the creation of a new topic (spam obviously, we are almost at 10 per minute!)
How to stop this?

If the wpForo plugin is deactivated, users can't create any topics anymore, so there shouldn't be any notifications.

I had seen the post about spam and had already put things in place to reduce it.
I uninstalled the plugin this morning and between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (I deactivated the plugin at 10:30 a.m.), I received 200 emails each indicating the creation of a new topic on the forum even though the plugin is indeed deactivated! ! I don't know what to do to stop this anymore 😓
