Hi, I use WP Foro to manage a legal organisation. When we advertise cases within a forum topic, we want our legal Reps to be able to get email notifications.
the difficult part is that for each and every case advert the user would have to subscribe and confirm email for a notification. I need a fix for this please.
Just to spell it out:
1) FORUM TITLE: Case Adverts
2) A new topic is created to advertise a case
3) legal reps get a notification that a new topic has been posted in case ads forum
4) a legal rep replies that they want the case. Director who posted the topic gets an email notification of their reply.
5) Director confirms and closes topic for further replies
can you please let me know what I need to do to use the plug in like this?

The Subscription Confirmation can be disabled from the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab. More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/wpforo-settings/features/#double-opt-in

You can change the Forum title from Dashboard > Forums > Settings > General tab.

The users should subscribe to the current forum/topic to get email notifications. wpForo has many subscription tools and options. e.g Subscription Manager, that can be found in My Profile > Subscriptions page

In this case, the s/he should just subscribe to the current topic subscription checkbox

The director will just need to click on the closed icon. It'll not allow users to post new replies.
