My users have asked whether I can change the forum, so that that entering any topics will not automatically jump to the latest post, i.e. topic links should generate as

https://www.mydomain.com/forum/forum-name/topic-name/

instead of

https://www.mydomain.com/forum/forum-name/topic-name/#post-84

How can I set this up? I could not find this anywhere in settings so far.

Thank you!

Hi @intellicoach,

Go to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab and disable `

"Topic Links Jump to First Unread Post" option.

@intellicoach,

It doesn't jump to the last post, it jumps to the first UNREAD post, in most cases the first unread post matches the last post. All forum boards are designed to refer you to the first unread post in the topic, so you don't have to go through all pages every time to see what's new in the topic.

If you don't want to see the first unread post in the topic, you should disable the "Topic Links Jump to First Unread Post" options in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab.

Then go to Dashboard > Forums  >Dashboard and click the [Delete all caches] button.
