Yes, I have also brought this up, but apparently this is normal behavior of the software they say. I've never seen a forum where views are not directly increased when you visit it. I don't like the way this has been designed, but they seem to have no plan to change it unfortunately. I wish there was a better way to do this because it look so incredibly bad when it displays zero views.
