A few of my users seem to be getting this issue. Has anyone else experienced it? And what could the cause be? Any suggestion would be massively appreciated!

Any suggestion would be massively appreciated! 

You are using cleantalk anti-spam,

go to your cleantalk account and look at the anti-spam log
you can add the users to your personal white lists
