[Solved] SMF2.x to wpForo

Hi,

Is there a way to migrate straight from SMF2.x forum to wpForo?

I have a rather large SMF forum with a database around 250Mb and would like to move away from SMF as it is increasingly unreliable and I am repairing the database almost on a monthly basis.

Our website is on wordpress and has been very stable. It makes sence moving forward to goto a Wordpress based forum.

Thanks.

I am thinking of same and migrating to WPForo from an existing 2.13 SMF.

I am not aware of any tools or plugins to complete the migration but did receive a quote from migrate-forum.com which I am considering. Seems reasonable but is only small forum in comparison as only been running a year.

wpForo is under active development and we spend our time on essential wpForo features, performance and security. We'll take a look on new migration options after 1.5.x release.

Currently you can check one of these paid options:

In case you want to say thank you !)

We just released Go2wpForo Migration Tool 2.0.0 version. It already supports SMF to wpForo migration: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/migrate-to-wpforo/

Ask me if I would upgrade the last SMF version 2.0.15 to wpForo
Everything works well until step 3.
Database connection, okay, but I get this error message:

"Migrate2wpForo Notice: We can't find this board on this system"

What's wrong with me?

-edit-

I managed to solve the problem
