Thank you for the update. Noticed that square brackets are being stripped from topic titles prior to saving them in the DB. Can this be reinstated or a pointer to where the culprit code is so can self-fix? I use brackets in topic titles for field of data.
Any reason why your opening post is repeated here? Looks like some post replies have also disappeared. Those could be serious bugs.
EDIT: Just rolled back to 1.6.1 until these issues are resolved.

Ok, thank you for letting us know.

It seems you've not read the whole Change-log of 1.6.0 version. We've added an option to keep first (starter) post on top of all pages. here we use this option so you see first post on all pages.

Ok, thank you for letting us know.
Any ETA for a fix or a pointer to the offending code?

All is ok with wpForo 1.6.2. The issue is in old template files you use. You've customized template files and saved in your WP theme /wpforo/ folder. According to the Update Note you should also update old template files to fix this issue. I'm sorry but you should do the same customization again, this is required. You can't use old template files with current 1.6.2 version. The editor wrapper is changed and other lot's of changes have been made in current version template files.

This will be fixed in next version. I'm sorry but I have no ETA, it may take a few weeks.

Thank you for the code, @robert! It's what I need.
I notice something else now.
After the update, the speed of the forum page on mobile is slower.
The Google PageSpeed Insights mobile score before the update was: ~57.
After the update is: ~36.Not enough information to follow your problem. If you can provide more details please open a separate support topic. We just tested and don't find any issue with speed. This is probably site specific issue.
The speed of my Forum page became slower after the update to 1.6.2. There is no other change on my site.
Your own page - wpforo.com/community/ - has Mobile Score: ~18 in Google PageSpeed Insights. This is a bad result according to Google.

I don't see any changes regarding the speed. I still get about the same in GT Metrix and i see a mobile 50 in Google mobile speed (and 78 in desktop).
When you know ... You know
When you don't .... You don't
Thanks that fixed it. The template files had the same version so I did not think anything had changed.
Also I noticed the login with Facebook is not showing on mobile but is showing on desktop. I'm not using any custom templates for the login.
Thanks

Try this small CSS code. Put it in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Styles > Custom CSS Code Textarea. Save it delete all caches, do Ctrl+F5 on forum front-end. Then test it on other mobile devices. Because mobile browsers have a hard cache, you'll not be able to see the change immediately.

Multi-quotes by selecting certain content from different posts
This is not working to me , is like before, if i quote a secong post is replacing the first one,
any advice ?
You should not click on "Quote" button, when you do multi-quote. Just select texts and click on Quote Icon each time, don't use the button, it'll remove all those. So it works fine, just don't reset editor using other buttons.

@Robert, thank you for assurance posting isn't broken. Have reinstated 1.6.2 and patched it to fix the title brackets issue.
Hi @nando4,
If you want back the brackets in titles, please open this file: wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpf-includes/functions.php
Find this line and remove it:
$text = preg_replace('#\[[^\]]+\]#', '', $text);

The search widget throws a 404 if there is no search term entered, bit of a problem when it's menu only item on some setups.
Also, is there a way to limit output snippet to a defined character limit? At the moment a result for a given search term will output an entire post, even if that post is 2000 words, not ideal on mobile...
