The complaint I have is about my Wordfence plugin detecting that my wpForo plugin is harmful to my website which is giving me concern...
Though I have only set the url and plugin settings but I have not update any content on the page due to fear of updating it and later I will have to re-update if any issue comes up.

This can't be an issue of wpForo. We run wpForo and Wordfence in two sites, without a single issue.
Something else is wrong. And what exactly "harmful" means? Any details?
Your page contains several scripts to "protect" your content and probably all those create some issue. Disable plugins other than wpForo and check.
