Hello, I am trying to configure wpForo to be used internally on a corporate intranet. When I create a post and include topic tags (ex: test 1, test 2, or in this post topic tags) the text does not appear for the respective tag.
Any thoughts on why the text might not be displaying? |

Hi, the forum page its a secondary page within my website... I got nothing yet to add on my website frontpage...
I wonder if things as Recent Posts, Recent Topics and tags are a good idea to have on my very front page or if by the contrary could be a bad idea perhaps for content duplicity on some cases
*Also, as I think I understand, the tags, are neither good neither bad, they just dont rank, correct?

You can access them appending /tag/ path to your forum base URL. This link is available in your forum footer as well. |

Everytime i use tags on a post, and click save, i get a runtime error, my site goes down for abour two minutes, then comes back, no tags of course added to the post, anybody has that problem or knows what could it be? |

@alvina, i think you missed the point...the related topic by tags script is detected post on "noun" tag, same result as "pronoun"...
but if you click the tag, that will show different result...so i think the problem is in the script that handle related topics by tag.
You can see the result on the topic page, not on tags page. |

When I post a forum with tags then It is show 25 Letters.
How to increase more?
Present show:
If I add tag:
With our new SAMIMI bundles pay less and enjoy more Roshan to Roshan
It is shown
our new SAMIMI bundles
I want full tags to add.
Example:
our new SAMIMI bundles pay less and enjoy more Roshan to Roshan

The bug is in the appearance of the [Advanced search options] button. This button should be removed in Tag Search form. Because there is no advanced search options for tags. So in text version we'll remove that link/button. The advanced search options are only available for regular search, not for tags. |

I tested a few tags links in google search console, they were not indexed, this makes them almost useless.
Maybe the reason is that they are missing from the sitemap.
A link like posts_tags-sitemap.xml maybe would help.
And please there are so many tags, create an easy way to control them. From what i see too many people asking for this. |

There is no problem in dozens of thousand tags. You can create them without any worries. Just make sure you use a good hosting service with a good host plants. The shared hosting plans are not recommended, but even with the poor hosting plans wpForo works fine, because it has built in forums, topics, posts, users and tags caches. |

Hey Massimo, does this mean if i remove site tags, will it make the forum faster? Think I have about 500 of them, im not sure. Is there an amount i should aim to say under? |

If you add several thousands tags as you say, your forums will be very very slow. |
