I just installed the wpforo plugin, but I'm facing issues with uploading and including images in my posts. I would like to ask for your opinions on this matter.

or if you want more features > wpForo Advanced Attachments
I tried to buy wpFore Advanced Attachments - I would like to try before to buy, make sure that it supports copy and paste picture into editor. I am waiting for approval

BTW, wpForo has default file attachment feature allowing attach one file. If you want to show that file as image you can use the code snippet mentioned here: https://wpforo.com/community/postid/5212/
