Topic tag is not getting selected when user click on tag with the touchpad(laptop) click.
We've just tested it on different laptop touchpad and didn't find any issue. Make sure you select the suggested tag before pressing the left click button of the touchpad. I mean the suggested tag should be chosen by arrow down key or by mouse, then you can press the left click button or do a double tap.
In any case, the device specific issues cannot be fixed by jQuery or something else. The code is already made very solid, and it works well on 99.99% of devices.
@robert double tap works, single tap doesn't work which I was trying. Thanks For the help.
