Hi,

I have identified that 'WP Download Manager' plugin is causing the 'disabling wp_version_check(), by disabling it and successfully saving a change to footer.php file.  So what now?  Is there some way I can fix the problem with the offending plugin?  All plugins are latest versions.

Also get the following error when I run Health_Check:

"The loopback request to your site failed, this may prevent WP_Cron from working, along with theme and plugin editors.
Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received"

Are these errors related?

Hi @draino62,

Please update your wpForo installation to the latest 1.5.4 version. This problem is already solved.
