Hi guys, I have been having problems for a while. A lot of heart beat issues, and admin ajaz requests.

I did some checking and it might be the wpforo notification that are causing the problems.

"wpforo_load_notifications" send for admin Ajax..... am i mistaken, or could this be the issue i am having?

Hi @percysgrowroom,

Please provide more information about the issue. In any case, I'd recommend disable the "Enable User Notification Live Update" option  in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features Tab and delete all caches.

I have disabled it.

My host says that i get a lot of admin ajax request that over load my server.....

I dont want to loose functionality of my forum, so maybe upgrading host is a good idea? Or is there another way to stop admin ajax without affecting the sites user experience>?

@percysgrowroom,

When your hosting says you get a lot of admin ajax request, you should ask them for an example AJAX request with the full GET URL to see what AJAX request is that and who sends it. Saying "you get a lot of admin ajax request" without the AJAX requests information is like saying nothing.

Yer this was four days ago mate.... thanks for the premium support 🙂

I feel both post this morning have a bit of an irate tone to them mate. Are you OK?

I am just asking questions, you know like, when you pay for premium and you get support???

I appreciate your answer, though it is late and has a slight hint of attitude.

Like this post:

Ok, then you don't need it. I cannot be responsive for all issues caused by Autoptimize plugin. I can only say for the wpForo forum. It'll work fine if you put the TinyMCE JS in the Exclude script option. It's well described here:  https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/autoptimize-wpforo/#post-25914

See that bold underlined bit?? I never did say you were responsible for Autoptimise, I was simply asking which was the best way to cache, and explaining how that plugin hasn't worked for me in the past.

You need a holiday or something bro, chill out

No caching works right with wpForo.

Pitty because forum by nature have a lot of topics that will never change after a while.

But this is what it is, we must accept it.

wpForo already has an internal caching, object / db from what i guess. Totally different from caching plugins, that create a static page for each post/topic/page.

If a static html page was created for each topic in wpForo, a lot of dynamic features will not work. Like statistics, likes, logins/logouts, who is viewing the topic, last viewed, and probably others.

ONLY gVectors could come up with such a plugin imho.

Thanks for the input mate. I know its difficult to cache the forum section. Wpforo cache seems to do a decent job. But hoping a paid plugin could do it better. Always looking to improve page speed 😉

If you "suffer" from page speed, i have a suggestion for you.

I see you are on a Litespeed server (or i'm wrong since it is not 100% clear).

If so, drop Fastest Cache, drop ANY optimizing plugins and install LiteSpeed Cache.

EXCLUDE wpforo base page from CACHING. ONLY from caching. Not from Optimizer.

In Page Optimizing Enable HTTP/2 Push for CSS/JS since Litespeed server support it.

If you see no change in speed, then your hosting is not that good.

Also the SEO plugin you use (YOAST) is a bit heavy. If you disable it for wpforo pages does make any change in speed?

Also this can help you understand what is puting load and what not so much:
