I have changed the settings of approval of posts to automatic and have cleared the cache but until till now, all posts are still held for moderation before it can be approved by the site administrator.

Hi @ayo365,
Did you check Antispam Tabs Spam Control field, New Registered User Field and Possible Spam Attachments field from Dashboard > Forums > Tools Page?

@chris , I didn't check that but I will go ahead to check now and report back if it solve the problem
