Okay, I want to use BuddyPress for the Profile and Ultimate Member solely for login purposes. However, when I have Ultimate Member activated, the photo used in the forums is being taken from Ultimate Member instead of BuddyPress even though I have BP selected in the Forum settings. If I deactivate Ultimate Member, it the profile photo from BP shows up fine in the forums.

How can I fix this? Thanks!

Please don't do this. Mixing to large profile plugins is the worst idea.

Both will try to hook wpForo avatar and profile pages and make tons of conflicts. In addion I see you're using Some cache and CDN solutions. In other words this is the most mixed problem I've ever seen. wpForo cannot manage such things, so I'm really sorry I could not help you fix this issue.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to fix it from wpForo size.Try to purge CDN, delete all caches, then go to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard and click [Delete all caches] button. This is all that I can suggest you.

This problem comes from UM + BP + CDN + Caching mix. wpForo just calls WordPress built-in avatar function which is hooked by UM + BP + CDN + Caching plugins, and it returns some unknown thing. There is no way to fix this issue from wpForo side.

IMPORTANT!

If you have a cache plugin please exclude the forum page from the cache. Forum page should not be cached. Please read this instruction: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/

@robert this is what I figured. I’ve gone ahead and disabled UM and excluded the forum page from the caching plugin. Thanks for the quick response.
