Hi,
I am trying to add the Facebook login. First by looking at the somewhat outdated information on https://wpforo.com/community/faq/how-to-get-facebook-app-id-and-secret-key/ and adding to that more current bits an pieces from the forum. But to no avail.
I do get this text on the login/registration form:
When you login first time using Facebook Login button, we collect your account public_profile information shared by Facebook, based on your privacy settings. We also get your email address to automatically create a forum account for you. Once your account is created, you'll be logged-in to this account and you'll receive a confirmation email.
But no button and the Facebook share option also doesn't work. So I have done something wrong with creating the login in the facebook Developer section. But I am a bit at a loss as to what that might be.
Just to make sure. My forum is part of my website. So if you want to go to the forum you have to go to: https://www.mysite.com/community/
Is that the URI that I need to fill in in Site url and the Valid OAuth Redirect URIs fields?
It's not possible to turn of Use Strict Mode for Redirect URIs as I read somewhere on the forum I was supposed to do. That is no longer an option in Facebook Developer.
Under Settings > Basic I have placed inside the field App Domains just https://www.mysite.com/
Obviously i need help :-). Just updating https://wpforo.com/community/faq/how-to-get-facebook-app-id-and-secret-key/ to the current standards would probabaly do it.
Martin

The Facebook tutorial was updated a few days ago. All is correct with the tutorial. Please leave a screenshot of your Forums > Settings > API's Tab (make sure the API Keys are not visible) and leave a direct link to your forum registration page.
