So forum setup was easy, but my forum users are not seeing any activity (because they are not getting any emails of new topics).

Is there an ability to:

a) Set a default subscription forum (ie Welcome Forum) so they see new members?

b) A Weekly Email sending a link to the recent posts/discussions?

c) Ability for an Admin to manual add a subscription in the back end?

Any of these would work for me and my forum members.

Hi @dankershaw,

a) Set a default subscription forum (ie Welcome Forum) so they see new members?

You can use wpForo  "Admin note/message on Forum frontend" feature. Add the message encourage forum members to subscribe.

b) A Weekly Email sending a link to the recent posts/discussions?

I'm really sorry, but wpForo doesn't have such feature.

c) Ability for an Admin to manual add a subscription in the back end?

If you mean auto subscription feature, I'm really sorry but wpForo doesn't allow admins to automatically subscribe members. This kind of options don't comply GDPR and they are not manageable.
