If a participant wrote a post and he got into the status of "moderation", then the participant can not edit it. How can this be changed and resolved so that he can edit?

I'm sorry but there is no way to enable Edit and Delete button for unapproved posts for non-admin users. There is no such option. This is made for security reason. Spammers may edit the post content with different ways and find the spam detection logic. In any case we'll add an option to enable those in near future relases. I've added this in our to-do list.
