Guests not able to view topics in specified Forum

I am currently using the simplied format for forums. I am not synced with WP user roles. I have a couple of Forums where I want to allow guests to have the ability to read topics. Right now that is not possible. I do not want guests to be able to comment but just read. What do I have to do to make that happen?

Do your access permissions look similar to this for the "read only" set?

Also, what is the access set for guests in the top/parent category where the forum resides?
