whenever we post something it shows "You successfully replied" in a green bubble at the top right. Is there a way to turn that off?

I'm sorry but there is no way to that. We'll add an option or some hook to disable it.

@robert any update on this? Is there a hook/snippet I can add to remove it?

Hi @needurhelp, @fawp,

This is already added since the wpForo 1.7.0 version. The hook name is:

wpforo_message_bubble

Please check the wpForo 1.7.0 changelog: https://wpforo.com/community/wpforo-announcements/wpforo-1-7-0-is-released/

Hi Alvina

I have just tried it. This looks like an "all or nothing" switch, meaning, either you switch all the message bubbles on or you switch them all off.

So if, for example, they are all switched off, I will not see messages such as "You successfully replied" but I will not see messages such as "Unknown username. Check again or try your email address" either.

Is this the case, or am I missing something, i.e. there is a way to customize when to switch it on and off?

Thanks

fawp

Yes, this works in this way. There is no way to separate those messages.
