Hi, I disabled all the user registration related function, but since I installed wpForo, there are many SPAM user registration started.
It seems there is a secret hole opened, that spammer can use for user registration.
I would like to stop them, otherwise I should stop using this plugin.
Is there any solution to fix the issue?
You can also turn off registrations in wpForo dashboard>settings>login & registration>#Enable User Registration yes/NO
A question arises though; if you don't want members why did install a forum plugin?
@verek This is the second post with "disabling registrations due to spam". And i also wonder why not use so many spam protection available for Wordpress and the buildin tools of wpForo?
google recaptcha 3 works just great for me, i have 1 or 2 fakes per day, i used to have a lot ....
But ... disabling registrations .... not a reasonable approach ...
