Why does the administrator have a "subscribe to all topics" menu but the registered user does not?

My forum is https://bozpforum.cz

Thx.

Hi @vit-hofman,

Please make sure the "Can subscribe" checkbox is checked.

E.g. Usergroup is Registered and they have Standard Access in forum settings. You should navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forum Accesses admin page, edit the Standard Access and uncheck the "Can subscribe" checkbox.

@Sofy

I see the same status here on the forum.
I assume that the subscription offer, like my image above, only shows up to admin?

Maybe we don't understand exactly. Is it possible for every registered member to see the offer, as in this picture: http://www.clipular.com/posts/5977600204472320?k=P_z1UpUw2tGzQIZFpsXDGIYbZyo

Thx.

@vit-hofman,

It seems that your email is not confirmed.

Please follow the steps below:

  • Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page
  • Enable Subscription Confirmation option
  • Then try to subscribe to some other forum/topic
  • Confirm the subscription and check again.

In your case, the registration also doesn't require the email confirmation. So you can just enable this option and the email will be considered as required.

One more time, perhaps last. We're losing obviously in translation.
Thank you for your patience.

Subscriptions work. Registered users can subscribe. There's no problem.
The problem is that I, like admin, see in my profile, subscriptions, better, more sophisticated subscription option, see previous photo.

An ordinary registered user can subscribe, but cannot subscribe, for example, to all topics or all topics and posts Obviously, only I can do this, like admin.
I, like admin, can also go through the offer of all topics and choose where I want to subscribe. And all in my profile -> subscriptions.

yes, I understand what the problem is. The Subscription Manager tool is available for all users who have permission to subscribe.

The reason why this tool is not available is that you haven't confirmed the email before. Please try the points mentioned in my previous post and the toll will be displayed.

Oh, I got caught. It works now.
So a technical comment.
Do you consider that any registered member would see the subscription Manager immediately without the need email confirmation?

I'm sorry, but not yet. This requires a lot of changes in plugin core. As I've already mentioned there is another option, you can Enable User Registration email confirmation option. The email will already be confirmed in this case.
