The problem is with the notification email to the administrator. (I haven't checked with the actual subscribed users yet.)

Just tested with a ordinary user, it displays as it should. So it's likely only admin notification emails.

[topic_body] is empty and nothing is displayed.

You can use [post_body] but it will display the full contents of the post in the email notification.

@verek The notifications are wrong. I get wrong (and funny) notifications from this forum also and i'm not an admin by any means.

https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/user_display_name-not-resolving-correctly-in-2-0/paged/2/#post-68428

Also those issues are NOT site specific as we have been told. They may have to do with settings but this is a BUG of wpForo2.

There is no any issue with the emails sent by this forum. The user had inserted email shortcode  in the title, and it was replaced correctly. Now, I removed the shortcode from the topic title, and it should work fine.

Ok, i was under the impression that users can't use anywhere shortcodes. Only admins could.

@plop6901,

The issue would be fixed in the new update. The Devs are working on it.
