I'm having an issue with WPForo and the Wordpress Plugin Maintenance not playing well together.  It looks like WPForo doesn't like the login from the front page of the maintenance plugin.  You can replicate the error by going to https://tptclan.us and see that the lost password link there is going to a WpForo page.  Any ideas how to correct this so it processes the login from the form on the front page?

Thanks,

@tptclan,

All is correct. If the following options are enabled in Forums > Settings > Features Tab then all is correct. If you don't want to see such behavior, just disable these options, and don't forget to enable them back once the maintenance mode is disabled:

  • Replace Registration Page URL to Forum Registration Page URL
  • Replace Login Page URL to Forum Login Page URL
  • Replace Reset Password Page URL to Forum Reset Password Page URL

@robert I've tried setting all 3 of those options to yes and all 3 of them to no and it still won't let me login through the maintenance plugin.

@tptclan,

Just set them all as NO. Then delete all caches, then test it using new browser or incognito tab. Browser caches redirection, so even if it's fixed you'll not see the result. Use totally different device to check.

Again, make sure all are set NO and all caches are properly deleted.

@tptclan,

I have no other idea. The last thing I can recommend is clicking the [Delete all caches] button in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page.
