Hello...

Avatars in forum not showing on Desktop when logged in.

It doesn’t occur on mobile responsive view, it’s just on Desktop view, when logged in the avatar disappear and where the user photo should display it displays white….and I tested the Guest Usergroup “Front – Can view avatars it was already checked, and when I unchecked it the white label that was showing disappeared and didn’t show anything…

I have purchased two add on's and they are working fine.

I see they are working just fine on this forum, so that give me hope 😊

I have BuddyPress installed.

Any more ideas?

Thanks

Naomi

Hi Naomi,

Please navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page, click on [Delete all caches] button and check again. If you use some other cache plugins please delete those plugins caches as well.

If it doesn't help, please leave your forum URL to allow us to check it.

Hi @naomibuch,

Please reactivate wpForo to allow wpForo developers to check the issue.

Hello....

My website now is available for testing, but what makes it so weird is that you can view the avatars while logged in on mobile responsive view, but on Desktop view you can't view the avatars while logged in.....maybe it's a permission's glitch?

Hello again...

I finally figured out what was causing the problem, it was a caching plugin called

Merge + Minify + Refresh

I have since deactivated it and the problem is solved.

Thanks for all your help.
