Where are the settings for email notification ? I mean from where you set the email that sends the notifications.

Please note that this setting is only related to wpForo emails (forum and topic subscriptions, user mentioning, etc...). This may not affect user registration and password reset emails, because they are WordPress core emails. In any case you can test it.
