Getting this error on my WP site, which is up to date with the latest version of WP:

Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Return value of wpforo\wpforo::create_folders() must be an instance of wpforo\void, none returned in /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpforo.php:457 Stack trace: #0 /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpforo.php(290): wpforo\wpforo->create_folders(Array) #1 /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(324): wpforo\wpforo->wpforo\{closure}(Array) #2 /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(348): WP_Hook->apply_filters('', Array) #3 /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-includes/plugin.php(517): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #4 /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpforo.php(443): do_action('wpforo_after_in...', Array) #5 /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpforo.php(241): wpforo\wpforo->init_folders() #6 /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpforo.php(295): wpforo\wpforo->init_base_classes() #7 /home/madaross/public_ht in /home/madaross/public_html/madaross/wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpforo.php on line 457

I keep trying to deactivate this plugin, but the Softaculous Wordpress manager doesn't seem to allow it; it will allow me to deactivate the plugin, but then when I reload, the plugin has been re-activated.

I really have no idea how to debug this further; any pointers would be helpful.

Hi @crookedgrin,

Please make sure you use the latest version of wpForo. The current version is 2.2.9.
