I just finished installing wpForo and wpDizCus and am very impressed with the plugins. I plan on buying some of the addons if I can figure a few things out. I just realized there is no way to embed a list of recent topics from a specific forum. The way the site I'm building is setup, this feature is crucial.
The Recent Topics widget would be perfect if I could just select which forum it grabbed it's topics from.
I know this has been asked before but in my search all the topics I found were over a year old and the replies said "We will add this feature in the future," so I just wanted to check in and see if this feature was in the works or if there is some way to extend the plugin to accomplish this.
I have searched on google and these forums with no luck.
Any help is appreciated and like I said, I plan on buying some addons if I could figure this out. I would even consider buying this functionality if it came out as an addon in the next month or so.

That you are not able to select the categories to show or to hide and that they show 3-4-5 posts from the same topic and the big minus of this forum.At least for me.
Ah, yes. There seems to be demand for a more robust Recent Post/Topics widget. It looks like you're looking for something more advanced than I am.

I don't even need to be able to select multiple forums, just a single one.
By the time and if you have big forum , you will see that what i am asking is really important.
This is already in our to-do list. We'll probably add it in next version release. I don't have an exact ETA yet, but it'll be released by end of this month or next month.
