Hi all,

I want to have a "restricted" forum. Is it possible to make sure that every single message posted on the forum goes to moderation and get published after approval?

Hi @giovanni,

1. Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Usergroups admin page. Edit all Usergroups one by one and make sure the “Can pass moderation” permission is disabled:

2. In Dashboard > Forums > Tools > Antispam admin page in the “New Registered User” section, enable the “Posts must be manually approved” option.

@chris Thank you so much for the quick response! Just one last question: is there also a way to avoid the profile info details to be changed from the user? I want to disable the "Account" page if possible. Thank you so much

@giovanni,

Account Page contains wpForo specific fields like Usergroup, User Title, Timezone, Signature... These fields can not be managed by other plugins, there is no any plugin which is integrated with wpForo for this purpose.

However, if you need to disable the page:

  1. You can use any CSS code to hide any component of wpForo. Just put the CSS code in Forums > Settings > Styles > Custom CSS Code textarea and save it.
  2. You can use wpForo User Custom Fields Addon to disable the Page/Tab by Pressing Disable Button from Dashboard > Member Fields > Tab Manager.
