[Closed] Making a forum private from moderators

I'm very new to wpForo's permission system

I was wondering, is this scenario possible?

I want to create a Q&A forum with full privacy, such that community members can send their questions, and no other members or moderators can read it, just me

If it is, how?

When posting their messages members should make them "private"

@mustafamohsen,

All is correct. By default moderators can see private messages. 

If you don't want them to see the private topics, go to wpForo > Settings > Accesses, edit the Moderator Access and uncheck the "Can view private topic" permission.

Is there a way to do it on a form basis?
I.e., block moderators from viewing private topics in a specific forum rather than board wise?

@mustafamohsen,

  1. Create a new Forum Access called "Super Moderator" in wpForo > Accesses admin page, check all permissions and save it.
  2. Edit the forum you want to grant "view private topics" permission to moderators and set "Super Moderator" forum access to "Moderators" usergroup. Save it. 
  3. Go to wpForo > Overview admin page and click [Delete All Caches] button.
