@abel_007,

Please don't duplicate the same topic. Today you've opened a topic with title "How to implement shortcode" and it was deleted by me. You can continue your questions here in this topic.

We've already provided all shortcodes so I don't see your question mean again. Be clear when you're asking a question. First, do lots of searches. This topic was opened even without checking the wpForo Documentation. I don't see if it's so hard to type "wpForo Shortcode" in Google or in our forum.

Now after finding the shortcodes you're opening another topic "How to implement shortcodes", what does this mean? What is the main issue? Don't you know that shortcodes are used in post and page content? I assume you know this. And I don't see the question mean.

Again, do search before opening any topic, don't duplicate topics and be clear in your questions.

Hey, a quick question. How can I get the shortcode working as a link in a post?
I have tried so many different variations but I'm getting a broken link always.

I want to point forum users to their profile settings after they have created their account.
The shortcode is /%wpforo-profile-account%/ but how to implement it into an URL, I have no idea 😊

Any help is appreciated.

@ammikas,

Those are wpForo Menu Shortcodes you can't use them in the posts.

@chris

Thank you!

But is there a way how I can get the URL to the user account settings?
Or even a user profile?
I cannot copy it straight from the address bar as it includes my own username.

@ammikas,

So you want to redirect users to their account page after they register?

@chris, Yes, this is exactly what I would like to do 😊
After they register, I would like to redirect them to their profile settings so they can change their username etc.

Dashboard > wpForo > Settings > Login & Registration

Custom Redirection URLs > Redirect after registration

@tutrix

Thank you!

I found out what was causing the problem.

I translated permalinks and those translated permalinks didn't work as a custom URL.
I restored all the permalinks and now the link https://blog.ebylim.com/est/participant/account/ works 😊

So the problem is solved and the solution found
