For some reason my plugin appears to not allow me to see or edit my pages in the backend of my site, only in dashboard can I see and edit.

My WP tech said,

"I deactivated "wpforo" The plugin is creating redirections and it doesn't let it edit the posts in general. Not sure what is going on. I would suggest checking the plugin settings/documentation.
if that doesn't help, you would have to contact the plugin developer"

After reading through the plugin docs, I am still at a lost.

Hi @randomnestfamily,

We are really sorry but we don't follow you well.

As far as we understand you want to Show Admin Bar for Members? If yes, please navigate to the  Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Features admin page and enable the "Show Admin Bar for Members" option.

More info here: https://wpforo.com/docs/root/wpforo-settings/features/

If not, please try to explain in other words. Or record some video with the issue to allow us to understand the issue.

I have a document to attach that will demonstrate what I am talking about. I tried to attach it here in both Word and PDF formats but this forum will not allow me.

Hi @randomnestfamily,

Thank you for the video.

Please let us know the plugin you use, that show in the first part of your video, it is not the WordPress default dashboard. Probably there is a conflict with that plugin. So it will be better if you contact with that plugin support and let them know about the issue.

Also, please navigate t the Dashboard >  Forums > Settings > General admin page and make sure the "Turn WordPress to wpForo" option is disabled.

If the above mentioned plugin support does not provide any solution for you, then please send the admin login details to info[at]gvectors.com email address. I'll ask the developers to check it for you.

@alvina the beginning of the video was not a plugin, but the admin area of my site.

I was showing you this area to show you that my pages do not appear on that end. I have to go into my dashboard to see my pages.

I have tried the options given, and per default, that option is disabled.

@alvina I have sent an admin invite, once they accept it, I will change the status to admin, as I realized only after that I sent it as author

But once info@gvectors.com accepts my invite for my site, I can go change the status. In this way they create their own login and information.

@alvina I asked that if our site needs to be disabled for troubleshooting, I asked info@gvectors to use the SeedPod plugin to put our site under construction so as not to interfere with the membership. Thank you!

@randomnestfamily,

the beginning of the video was not a plugin, but the admin area of my site.

This is not the WordPress default Dashboard and we are really sorry, but we don't support this kind of issues.

Also please note all plugins of WordPress based on WordPress functions and features, including wpForo, and as we see in the video provided by you in the above video there is no any issue regarding the wpForo plugin in the WordPress Dashboard.

@alvina Alright, thank you Alvina and team for trying. I'll try to go through the troubleshooting for the plugin with my team again.

Blessings!
