It seems my file permissions are incorrect, even though I don't remember changing any (at least my history doesn't show anything)

What would be the safest way to get the update installed?

Cheers,
Dennis

Hi @cybernijntje,

The error says some files are not uploaded successful or those permissions are set incorrectly in your server file system. Maybe your disk space is full, or the server file permission settings are incorrect. So first please deactivate the wpForo, then delete it. Then delete the plugin folder in  /wp-content/plugins/ directory using Hosting cPanle > File Manager tool or some FTP Client, for example FileZilla

And please make sure the folder is fully deleted. Then navigate to Dashboard > Plugins admin page and activate the wpForo plugin again.

Thanks @alvina, but won't this remove all the manual changes I made to the forum?

Yes, the plugin and the date will be removed.
