Hello,

I'm having an issue after the latest update. I've purged every cache you could possibly imagine and still see this particular issue.

When I click various links in the forum it redirects me to the homepage and shows the following URL in the address bar 'https://forums.fiskerati.com/?attachment_id=#post-20546' instead of taking me to the correct URL like this one: https://forums.fiskerati.com/fisker-ocean/received-fisker-ocean-one-delivery-email/#post-20546.

Also, I've noticed the previous and next buttons don't work either when on a post. They take me to this URL: https://forums.fiskerati.com/?attachment_id=

As of right now, the site is pretty broken.

Thanks for your help!

About an hour after reporting this issue, I restored previous backups for the file system and database through my Wordpress hosting provider. The latest update (v2.1.8) made the entire site unusable. Won't be performing another update until this issue is resolved. Any ideas why the latest update broke every post on the site?

@seancallahan,

We have done changes on the v2.1.8, but before updating it on your live site, test it in a clone of your website.

@chris Hi Chris, I can clone and test, but what if I experience the same issues? Do you know why the entire URL structure broke?

When I click various links in the forum it redirects me to the homepage and shows the following URL in the address bar 'https://forums.fiskerati.com/?attachment_id=#post-20546' instead of taking me to the correct URL like this one:  https://forums.fiskerati.com/fisker-ocean/received-fisker-ocean-one-delivery-email/#post-20546.

Also, I've noticed the previous and next buttons don't work either when on a post. They take me to this URL:  https://forums.fiskerati.com/?attachment_id=
