Hi there,
I added in my footer the profile widget for online users.
It works but the wpf-prof-buttons are blank as in the attached image

Try

Dashboard > wpforo > Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous > Font-Awesome Lib > Sitewide

visit my german wpForo Community > Tutrix.de
with lots of customization & modification, e.g. hover cards, topic/post preview on mouseover, chatbox and much more...
