@blackraz IF we all use really some GOOD firewall (in PREPEND/ADVANCED mode), even IF issues exists, they are blocked. In ALL plugins, not just wpForo...

If your issues are related to smtp (out), you need to install and tune a smtp plugin with logging capabilities (logging for a while).

Install Query monitor and find the slowness: Also enable Standard Wordpress debug for a few hours and check the DEBUG.LOG for issues.

If the issue is only for replies, then your issue is the outgoing (smtp) emails send. Unless there is some kind of error. Do you use any smtp plugin...
