A lot of webmasters struggle with fake user registrations just to create Spam Profiles. I see several people here asking for help on that. There are solutions for Wordpress but i guess most webmasters can't or won't try security plugins, for their own reasons. So i would like to suggest two OPTIONAL settings for wpForo Profiles. 1. Thank you, but this not what i asked. I do not have Spam, i posted that 2 times above. What i have is around 200-300 fake accounts per day, filling their Profiles. No Spam, just Profiles. And checking each and every user or profile is out of question (for anyone i guess). Also Profiles can be empty and then changed to whatever. There are plugins that take care most of my problem (at registration level) BUT require multiple connections with external sources and that is not allowed by company policy.

Hi, I've seen somewhere that it could not be possible, but my website (intras.fr) already get hundred of Profiles pages, well referenced. I just have created some forums using the (very good) WPForo plugin, but it creates many new Profiles pages. My Profiles pages are custom one and I don't want to change them ! @dimalifragis, Yes, but all these you should do yourself. People don't like to send lots of time on each user registration. There might be dozens and hundreds of new registered users, so filtering them manually will be a nightmare. We can use automatic Spam filtering tools, which should work with current way of user registration as well. I believe Aksimet paid plans should work fine. @robert but this is NOT for Profiles. The problem of the OP is different and we have it also. People registering, post nothing, just Spam their Profiles.

@fchd22, If you want to fully disable the topic/post moderation, you should do the following settings in wpForo > Settings > Spam Protection admin page: 1. Edit the default usergroups you want in wpForo > Usergroups admin page and ENABLE "Front - Can pass moderation" permission. It should be checked. 2.
