Replying to a topic or quoting some topic content (by marking the content to quote) did insert the @username of the topic poster in all previous versions. Since the update to 1.9.9. this nice feature is gone.

I feel this is a bug or is this intended for a worse user experience 😉 🤔

@wpforofan2,

This is not a bug. I think you've disabled the "Show Member Mention Nicknames" option in Dashboard  >Forums > Settings > Features tab. Try to enable it, we've connected the @nickname inserting feature with this option in 1.9.9 version:

@martin Thanks for the super quick reply.

The setting is unchanged and correct, see attached. It was working well before the update.

I've also just tried to set it off and back on again (saving settings in between) - to no avail. So I fear it's a bug.

You can verify here: https://eblocker.org/community/

Thanks very much.

@wpforofan2,

Please read my reply again, I've updated it a few minutes ago, you've checked a wrong option.

@martin Buddy, you posted the wrong screenshot misleading me!

Now with the right screenshot - and the right setting it works again. Thanks very much.
